To everyone who joined me for Blaugust this year,
For those who don't know what Blaugust is, it is Belghast's own challenge, one that a lot of bloggers look forward to every August. This year was different, though. Belghast passed away back in July, and it would've been easy for Blaugust to just quietly end there. Instead, a handful of mentors from the Discord picked it up and kept it going, so people like me could still take part. Thank you to Belghast for starting all of this in the first place, and to the mentors for keeping it alive this year. It's been a fun journey, and I'm glad I got to be part of this carnival.
Thank you to anyone who's been reading along this month. I don't always know who's out there reading, whatever random topic showed up that day. But you were there for it, and that means something to me. And some of you mention my posts in yours; thank you!
Back on my birthday, I said I was surprised at myself for sticking with it this steadily. That held true — I made it all 31 days, and I'm glad I did.
I don't have a great analytics setup for this blog. That's okay, though — maybe down the road I'll consider adding something so I can see the traffic better. For now, here's my simple stat rundown for the 31 posts:

Now I'm thinking about what's next. Something called 100 Days to Offload has caught my eye. I haven't decided yet — still working through my thoughts. When I'm ready, I'll share what I'd plan to do in a separate post, if I decide to go for it.
Either way, thanks for sticking around this month. Whether or not I do 100 Days to Offload, I'll be back for Blaugust 2027. If you want to subscribe, feel free to do so below.
Thanks again,
Toby
This post started as a draft from Claude (AI). I edited and expanded it, put it in my own words, and decided what to keep, what to cut, and what it says.
