What will Googlebooks offer that make them worth Google changing direction from Chromebooks?
I had a Pixelbook years ago and was excited — until I wasn’t. ChromeOS already baked in Android apps and it wasn’t that great. So will a full Android-based OS actually change things, or just move the problem around?
I want a full desktop experience. Android can’t match iPadOS in app quality and desktop experience, despite Android’s AI edge. I just bought a MacBook Air. If Googlebook matures into a true desktop experience, it could make my next laptop shortlist. Give it a couple of years.
