My mamaw started a tradition of giving me a John Grisham book every Christmas. After she died, my parents kept it going. Grisham releases about one book a year, so I’ve got them all in my collection. Just got The Widow last Christmas and I can’t wait to read it. Such a special tradition to continue.
Just learned a new word and thought it was fun to create a sentence using that word … 😉
Looking at my subfusc wardrobe lately—all these dark, dull colors—and realizing I need more brightness in my life. Time for a change—add some color and energy.

This chicken pot pie soup looks so good. Definitely going on my list to make one day. Perfect comfort food for winter—has all those cozy pot pie flavors but in soup form. My kind of meal right now.

Found a good article that really resonated with me. Forget grand New Year’s resolutions—meaning comes from small, consistent actions. One page read, one short walk, one message sent. Those tiny tweaks add up. Worth a read if you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Read more here.

Ultimately, they teach us to return to one religion: peace, love, kindness, and compassion.” - Bhikkhu Pannakara
How could I miss?! It is a TV series from 2015! Last night, I watched: Jekyll and Hyde S1E1, The Harbinger.🍿 It was interesting, and I will watch the rest of the season.
Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, a novella by Robert L. Stevenson, published in 1886, is a fascinating story, indeed!
I am indeed curious what Obsession is about… Hmm. I will be sure to watch for a new trailer!

Saw Primate & loved seeing Troy Kotsur! Great deaf representation. Intense movie. Random word stuck with me: Hydrophobia, though not 100% medically accurate. Won’t explain—spoilers—but watch it and you’ll see. Pretty clever how they used it in the story. Trailer: youtu.be/wo87F-va4…
