I’m really fond of the bamboo-and-steel canopy. If I had a bigger yard, I’d definitely choose this… it’s truly beautiful.

Posted a titled blog post to Bluesky via Micro.blog’s Standard.site integration — looks sharp! The ‘View Publication’ pill is a nice touch. One quirk: the post title appears twice — once in the body text, again in the card. Hopefully that gets ironed out soon. What do you think of this?

I love trying out new gadgets when they drop, but they tend to have a short shelf life — ending up tucked away somewhere, forgotten. Same goes for apps and websites. I used to sign up for every new thing that caught my eye, explore it for a bit, then move on to the next shiny object. I had accounts everywhere.
Now I only buy what I know I’ll actually use. I stopped buying new gadgets three years ago after a layoff, and my approach to apps has mellowed out too. I still dabble in new stuff once in a while, but nothing like the signing-up frenzy of my past.

EVs are getting more affordable worldwide — except in the U.S.
TIL that DC is an acronym for “Detective Comics.” Now, the times I don’t need to say DC Comics because it’s already implied in DC, right? But why do we still say DC Comics? Hmm. I find it interesting…what do you think?
“…did you know that “DC” stands for “Detective Comics,” which means that “DC Comics” is redundant?”
If I plan to redo my tiny house, I would go with this exterior wood like this… It is a beautiful house.
