I’m watching Apple’s event right now, and so far…meh. Some things I don’t care about, and others I already knew were coming. 🙄 Still waiting to be wowed.
Three weeks at my partner’s parents’ house with no cable and no streaming, and another three weeks to go. Plugged it into the TV and I have something to watch again.
That’s a wrap on Blaugust. A month of showing up every day, and I’m ready for a little quiet to think about what comes next. Word Nerd Alert isn’t going anywhere.

Staying at my partner's parents' place for a little over a month, and they don't have cable. Basically, I've been doing nothing but being on my phone all day.
Spent the day making my blog more accessible — aiming for WCAG compliance and I think I’m close. Also gave Word Nerd Alert its own section and bumped a few font sizes.
I thought it was a brilliant idea. I also learned that @manton plans to figure out which other social platforms support that API and roll this out there too.
Quick note: as I just shared, I’ll be traveling to New Mexico starting Friday for family reasons. Blaugust posts might be spotty for a bit while I’m there.
My partner and I are heading to New Mexico this Friday. His father passed away last weekend, and the funeral is August 22nd. I’ll be there for him while he grieves.
I heard about Apple’s smart home hub a while back. Now it looks like it might actually happen.

Emails are useful for newsletters and articles I enjoy reading, but I’ve piled up too many, some I’m no longer interested in, and haven’t cleaned them up, especially when I haven’t checked email in a while.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 📺 is coming soon. Better catch up on Season 2 — I’ve only seen episodes 1 and 2 so far.
The Samsung Unpacked event is expected to talk abt those things. Nothing is really like a ‘wow’ moment. The wider Galaxy Fold is tempting to buy.
My goodness. Repeating the same thing for an hour is really annoying before it begins unpacking. Now the event has finally started.
I was out of town all day yesterday. I didn’t get a chance to watch Samsung’s unpacked event until now. I expect a new wider foldable device and am eager to see it.
