Did you know that there is no universal sign language?

In the EU, sign languages are as diverse as spoken ones – varying across countries, ages, and social groups.

Through our Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021–2030, we’re committed to leading by example: making our events and content more accessible.

Everyone deserves to have a right to freedom of expression, receive and share information, and take part in society on an equal basis.
