I agree! I’m glad Democrats won by a big margin and took over Congress, but they still face challenges. In the Senate, most bills need 60 votes just to move forward, so they’ll need some Republican support before a bill even reaches Trump’s desk. And even with a majority, they don’t have enough votes to override his vetoes on their own. That takes a two-thirds vote in both the House and the Senate, so they’ll still need Republicans to pass those bills. Getting things done will mean working across the aisle.
