I remembered watching Michael giving his best performance of Thriller on TV when I was 7 years old! I was like, “Ohh my that looked scary!” I also happened to own Michael doll with the famous red jacket. I wonder where it was. Hmm. Anyway, the movie trailer looks good.

Watched: Jeanne du Barry last week.

It’s a beautiful watch, but watching the court refuse to acknowledge her is hard to look away from. Louis loved her, but even he couldn’t hold back what was coming. Once he was gone, so was her place in that world.

The Marie Antoinette thread got me too. She refused to speak to Jeanne for years, and when she finally did, it was just one brief exchange.

I read this review about Apex. It convinced me to check it out. I would not expect it to be mind-blowingly good. However, it should at least be fun to watch, especially given the talented cast. I’ve added it to my watch list: Apex 🍿

While I was watching the Coroner Season 1, episode 1, I just learned that it was based on a novel with the same name but it is a series, totalling 8, based on a character, Jenny Cooper, the coroner!

So I add to ‘Want to read’: The Coroner by Matthew Hall 📚

They’re performing Disney songs in American Sign Language as part of a beautiful collaboration between Disney Animation and Deaf West Theatre. It’s expressive, emotional, and worth checking out.

I enjoyed every episode and I hope they will do another season soon. ★★★★☆

Watched: Invitation to a Murder two or three nights ago. ★★★★☆

I thoroughly enjoyed this film! It perfectly captured that classic Agatha Christie magic I love in a good detective story.

It’s set in 1930s England; six strangers are summoned to a remote island estate, and when bodies start turning up, an aspiring detective must find the killer among them before it’s too late.

I was so excited to find out there is a sequel out—Murder at the Embassy—and another on the way: The Mystery of the Golden Spear.

Gotta watch the sequel soon. I can’t wait to see more of Miranda Green!

Watched: Mr. K 🍿

It’s a rather unusual film, and I’m still trying to understand how it holds a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. There isn’t much to explain what is actually happening to the place as he wanders through it; he’s essentially trapped in an architectural labyrinth. I can’t help but feel like I missed the point of the story, so I might need to re-watch it someday.

However, I definitely agree with this description:
