Most streaming services default captions to the smallest size, don’t carry across devices, finding where to adjust them varies. The How-To Geek article breaks down where to find the settings. For Deaf/HoH viewers, that’s not a minor annoyance. It’s a barrier.

Watched two days ago: War Machine 🍿 ★★★½

I don’t do documentaries. But Dancing with the Birds intrigued me enough to stay. That Flame Bowerbird built an entire architectural masterpiece out of sticks — just to impress a date. Curated decor and everything. Nature’s original creative director, and he did not miss.

Watched: Zone 414 🍿 ★★☆☆☆

Watched: Mercy 🍿 Better than I expected. Not perfect, but I enjoyed it. ★★★☆☆

Congratulations to Keivonn Woodard for making history at just 10 years old for his role in HBO’s The Last of Us, where he became the first Black deaf actor nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series category and the youngest nominee.

Ooh, I can’t wait for Percy Jackson Season 3. With the new cast joining this season, it should be exciting to watch.

Check out the first look of the trailer here.

I can watch ONE PIECE Season 2 now as it is just released now. Excited.

In the meanwhile, there is something cool…it is built with Lego. Saw on Facebook. Just wow!!!

I just finished watching the Melania documentary to see what the fuss was about for this $40 million project.

My verdict: it's a total waste of time. It’s dull and boring, with absolutely nothing worthy about it. Critics agree, with The Guardian noting the film

"makes watching paint dry look like the Super Bowl."

Whether you call it “narratively dead” or just an expensive infomercial, it offers zero insight. Skip it.

Apocalyptic Warning Against AI

I just read an article.

AI has changed since then, and now it’s not something out there on the horizon. It’s here. It’s in our lives,” Verbinski says. “It did feel like it was immediate, that the story needed to be made quickly and put out right now.

Apocalyptic warning against AI. I never thought I’d see that framing — but AI is moving fast. So… maybe? Hmm.

Saw the teaser.— Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die — a sci-fi comedy; now on my watchlist. But, theater-only for now.

“a gleeful high-concept comedy with a serious message at its core.” — Critics Consensus at Rotten Tomatoes
