Watched: The Carpenter’s Son 🍿 ★★★☆☆
Always fascinated by Bible stories about Jesus — especially his life at birth, age 12, and 30–33. This one pulls from the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, an apocryphal text covering ages 5–12 and Jesus’s uneasy relationship with his father. Interesting territory.
I’m curious to find out what became of that boy who transforms into something completely different…

I saw The Devil Wears Prada years ago, but with a sequel on the way, I was curious if it’s based on a true story. While technically fiction, it’s a thinly veiled look at Lauren Weisberger’s tenure at Vogue. Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly is the cinematic ghost of Anna Wintour—right down to the high-fashion armor.
As Streep noted regarding the character’s relentless drive:
“I wanted to take on the burden of being the one who has to make everything ‘perfect’ and the price that woman pays for that.”
Legendary satire.
Watched: 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple 🍿 it was okay. Rating: ★★★☆☆
Watched: The Yeti🍿 Decent enough. It struggled to hold my attention at times, but I managed to finish it. I would say: ★★½☆☆☆
