I was sitting under the porch and saw our dog, Tinkerbell, looking down at me! How adorable!

I used to use or fool around with Linux many years ago. I enjoyed it for a while but I never stay But I always back to Windows or Mac. I think it is the limit of apps at that time really lost me interested to stay with Linux. Perhaps I should try it again one day!
Funny thing — Android actually runs on the Linux kernel. You’d never know it looking at your phone, and I say that as an Android user.

I wrote about my Mac Mini M1, 8GB, some time ago. Recently, someone else experienced the same issue, so I now know where to look for some spring cleaning later today. I hope it goes smoothly! Fingers crossed!
My Mac felt slow, but hardware wasn’t the problem. Here’s how I fixed it.
I passed my driver’s test on Friday.
Thirty years since I last sat behind a wheel.
Later today I do a practice drive to see if the rest of my brain remembers what to do.
Nervous. Excited. Mostly just hoping muscle memory is a real thing.
Wish me luck.
Though I still have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and use it occasionally, I mainly rely on my Android phone daily. I generally prefer Android over iOS, but to fully enjoy Android’s benefits, high-end phones are often the best.
After being an iPhone user for 13 years…decided to switch to Android for good
For fun, I check my horoscope once in a while… I am a Virgo. Here it goes:
Virgo
- Your Card: The Star
- Your Word: Self-Love
You’re on top of the world this year, Virgo, and it’s time to let your light shine! You’re used to being the one in the background, doing all the hard work behind the scenes to make everyone else happy. This year, you’re ready to step into the spotlight and take care of yourself first for once. Remember that self-care is not selfish, and learning to love yourself is one of the most important lessons in life.
That star chandelier against the wood ceiling. The way the light filters through bamboo shades onto a sage floor. I could disappear into that room with a book and not come back for hours.
EVs chew through tires faster than gas cars — heavy batteries and instant torque put extra stress on every acceleration. A former Michelin executive put a number on it:
“EVs tend to wear out their tires up to 20% faster than standard gas vehicles.”
Many EV tires are designed for low rolling resistance — harder tread compounds, shallower depth. Less tread from the start equals a shorter lifespan.
I passed my permit test, and I’ve been going back and forth between an EV, a hybrid, or a gas car for my first car. Good to know what I’d actually be signing up for.

If I ever redid my tiny house, I’d steal this window layout. Different sizes, all that light flooding in — no overhead fixture competes. Shiplap on walls and ceiling? Brilliant. And navy cabinets? My favorite color.

Thinking a second tiny house — one room, big window, office space. Or maybe just a small sunroom off my bedroom. Nothing fancy. Just exploring what’s possible. Link
